Frog Craft for Kids and Butterfly Craft for Kids

by Britany on April 7th, 2012 at 3:24 am

Here is our newest, and last, Easter project. It also makes a great project for spring or summer time. We call it, “Bouncing Above”. For the boys, we have froggies. And for the girls, we have butterflies.

This is actually one of the first projects we made. We just haven’t posted it on this blog yet. And most of the credit for it goes to my mom, Barbara. She came up with the idea and designed it on the program. I just did some touch ups and colored it in. :-)

Either way, it’s one of our cutest projects. At least, that’s what I think. You can print this one it black and white or color. (Of course). Also, you can print the instructions up on this one. I’ve also included them in this post if you would rather just read them over. You may not need to even print the instructions up.

Easter Bunny Craft for Kids

by Britany on April 3rd, 2012 at 9:35 am

Had lots of fun with this project. So did my little sister! I curled her hair and had her be the “model” for this photo. She really loved it and had to take a look in the mirror when I was done. (A few times).

In the picture I used the Girl Easter Bunny Mask. However we have one for little boys too. We also have one that is just plain white and yellow. Whenever I think of bunnies, I think of them being white. Maybe that’s just because we have 2 white bunnies as pets though. :-) Either ways, you have three options to choose from for this mask.

There is also one that you can print up that is just black and white. This makes it easier for you if you don’t want to use toner in your color printer….it is also fun if your kids like to color the craft themselves. If that’s the case, even better! Let them color it, put sparkles on it, stickers, glue sequins or beads on it, or whatever they want to do. One of the best things about kid’s crafts is letting them use their imagination and getting those creative muscles working.

Printable Easter Basket Coloring Page

by Britany on March 29th, 2012 at 4:17 am

Here is another cute Easter coloring page. This one is like our Easter basket activity. We decided to make it into a coloring page also.

It’s going to have to be a short post tonight. It’s 10:07 p.m. where I am and after a long day at work, I’m more than ready to go to sleep!

In fact, we have an especially cute one that we will be posting this Saturday. So make sure to stop by and print that one up too. You won’t want to miss it! :-)

Easter Basket Craft for Kids

by Britany on March 24th, 2012 at 5:17 am

Ahhhh. It’s official, spring is in the air. A few days ago, it was the official first day of spring and I must say, I love it. It still feels like winter sometimes….but at least now whenever it snows it melts within a few hours.

I deal with the winter blues sometimes. Severely. And the summer sunshine and air helps to take the edge off. So bring on the sunny days!

Now, what we have here is another printable craft for kids. This one is (of course) Easter themed. It isn’t just pink like the one on the picture though, there is also a printable for little boys too.

We have people ask us sometimes where we get these kids crafts. Well, we make them. Yes, ALL of them. We create them on a computer program. We definitely had allot of work cut out for us when we decided to start this website. And a huge learning curve, because we didn’t know how the use the program. So, many hours later (and a lot of frustrating moments) we were able to launch our website. So we love the feedback from all of you! Socialize with us and tell us what you think on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Noah’s Ark Craft for Kids

by Barb on March 21st, 2012 at 4:48 am

Here, as promised, is the free printable craft to go along with the story of Noah and the Ark. This takes approximately 15 minutes to cut out and paste together. I thought spring would be an fun time to post it.

The story of Noah and the Ark with the rainbow covenant God made with Noah is a great way to settle kids who are nervous about a rainstorm.

We have some cute animals peeking out. My kids love animals of all kinds, so it gets them more excited about the project.

Robot Coloring Page for Kids

by Barb on March 19th, 2012 at 6:39 pm

My daughter, Brit, made this super cute robot coloring page. We thought we better throw something on our blog for little boys too.

We have so many girls in our family that we tend to lean toward projects that are more feminine. We do have some great dinosaur coloring pages too. Some of our free printable cards are masculine and our craft project for the Story of Noah and the Ark are great for small gentlemen.

We started this site because we couldn’t find any great Free printable crafts for our kids to print. We thought it would make life more simple for all you hard working parents and teachers if we provided some super cute printables.

Printable Bookmarks for Easter

by Britany on March 14th, 2012 at 6:19 pm

These printable bookmarks are a lot of fun. We love to make reading time fun and encouraging for our little girls. Reading is such an important part in their education! They will use it everyday for the rest of their lives.

We did it in the Easter theme because the holiday is so close, of course! This spring we’re going to be celebrating Easter at my Grandparents home in southern Utah. They have a beautiful home and property that will be so much fun for the kids to do their Easter egg hunt.

As long as it’s warm, I’ll be happy. Winter is great, but I am more than ready for spring and summer this year! Those have always been my favorite seasons.

So the instructions for these printable bookmarks for kids are very simple.

  1. Print them
  2. If these Easter kids crafts are printed in black and white, color or paint and let dry.
  3. Cut out your favorite printable bookmarks, or all four of them!
  4. Cut out the figures (the puppy, or duckies)  and glue them onto which ever book marks you want
  5. Read!

Not so bad at all, right? And what’s even more fun is to have a read-a-thon when you’re done making these. I used to love those when I was a kid. I was always a big reader. I don’t have as much time now to read as when I was little, but I’m so glad I learned to love it early on. So many young kids think it’s boring and would rather watch TV or play video games. Even though those are fun, reading is so much better to get their brains developed and smart.

I hope you and your little ones enjoy these printable free bookmarks. Let us know what you think! Also, socialize with us on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. We put allot of work into these Easter kids crafts so we love hearing from you!

Easter Resurrection Bible Craft

by Barb on March 11th, 2012 at 6:10 am

As promised, here is the Easter Resurrection Bible Craft for Children. This 3 page printable depicts Jesus rising from the tomb, triumphant over death and evil with Mary joyful at seeing him. Print them in color or black and white below.

We made it cute for the little kids with some creatures and a little stone pathway, my kid’s favorite. We also published a cute Easter Coloring Page of Jesus Resurrection for those of you who have children that like to color more than cut and paste.

Easter Resurrection Bible Coloring Page

by Barb on March 11th, 2012 at 5:06 am

Here is our first Bible Coloring page. Done just in time for our Easter coloring page of Jesus’ resurrection.

This coloring page goes along with the Easter Craft and Activity of the Resurrection.

We will be doing an entire line of Bible printable coloring pages and crafts for children. I hope they enrich your child’s experience in Sunday school, bible class, home evening or whatever great thing you use them for.

I love simple Easter crafts! I also like to give the kids something to color while I read the bible story. I home-schooled my own children for 18 years and learned that my kids are definitely visual learners. It just seemed they heard the lesson better when their hands were busy and getting they were getting a visual of it.
